Religion Saves?
Luke 18:18-30

We are just like the rich ruler. We stick with religion and expect God to “do” for us. But Jesus Christ offers Himself! Not a list. Religion is a list.
Wealth vs. Jesus?
Jesus shoots for the heart. He does not care about external smoke screens. Jesus wants our hearts!
The tendency of our hearts is towards money. We must look inward at our hearts.
Our hearts want to fall back on religion, unless we continually set them to Gospel mode.

God’s call is not religion.
If we are religious, we must repent of our righteousness and security.
