Open Aperture Worship
I was reading the definition of the word “aperture” and it caused my mind to blow up.
Aperture - a space through which light passes in an optical or photographic instrument.
So my mind took that definition and related it to Jesus Christ. As a worshipper of Christ, I wonder if the concept of the aperture can be correlated with worship. As I am worshipping him with my life, and as I sing songs of praise to him, is my aperture being opened to the light?
As a worship leader, I believe that God wishes to use me as an instrument to open the aperture so that people may see him. Anytime that it is about the musicians or the music, the aperture fails to be useful.
So that is exactly why I revamped this blog. I wish to use it for God’s glory, that he will open a space through which his light passes.
